AI AND LEAN IMPLEMENTATION · BUSINESS TRAINING

Lean and AI for business growth and profitability.

With your team, we identify what most limits business performance. We focus Lean and AI on those priorities, helping address delivery delays, quality issues, low productivity and high operating costs.

The first step is a meeting with your organization’s leader.

01 / WHY LEANAI

Start with what matters most to the business.

Performance may be limited by a critical process or the way several processes interact. We first clarify the most important challenge and its causes, then decide what to change.

Delays and long lead times

Orders, services or construction projects are not completed on time. Long order-to-delivery cycles lead customers to choose faster competitors.

Quality issues that cost you customers

Defects and service errors lead to complaints, rework and extra costs. They undermine customer trust and the ability to retain business.

Costs that erode profitability

Low productivity in physical or knowledge work, underused equipment, poor material yields and excessive consumption increase operating costs.

Inventory that limits your options

Excess stock ties up working capital, while essential materials or products may still be unavailable. Delivery and growth opportunities suffer.

Lean sets the direction. AI expands what is possible.

LEAN

Focus on the business constraint.

Lean and practical improvement experience help identify what limits performance, understand the causes and focus the team on the most important change.

AI

Expand the range of solutions.

AI can help detect problems earlier, reduce errors, improve response times and support better decisions. We also assess opportunities to create added customer value that would be difficult to achieve using traditional methods.

We assess time savings by how much they help address the key business challenge.

02 / SERVICES

Support where change matters most.

We choose the way of working around the business challenge, the organization’s current situation and team readiness. We can support a specific stage or the entire change.

Application strategy and implementation support

We clarify performance constraints, improvement priorities and the direction for Lean and AI. We support leaders and teams in implementing the agreed change.

AI and Lean implementation

We improve critical processes and implement solutions that can strengthen delivery, quality, productivity or resource use. We measure their impact on business performance.

Practical training and workshops

AI and Lean training, seminars and hands-on workshops for leaders and teams. We work with the organization’s challenges so learning helps address them.

03 / OUR METHOD

From a business challenge to measurable change.

IMPACT is a six-step cycle. We start with what most limits business performance, then select process changes and suitable AI applications.

  1. I01 / 06

    Identify

Identify the key business challenge and the constraint that most limits performance.

Intended outcome: A business priority and a baseline measure.

    Explore this step

Review delivery delays, lead times, quality, productivity, costs and inventory. Agree on the business priority and desired change with leadership.

  2. M02 / 06

    Map

Examine critical processes and identify the causes of the constraint.

Intended outcome: A map of critical processes and root causes.

    Explore this step

Analyze process flow, capacity, information flows and interactions between activities. Separate symptoms from root causes.

  3. P03 / 06

    Prioritize

Select the change with the greatest potential impact on business performance.

Intended outcome: A selected initiative and success criteria.

    Explore this step

Assess the effect on the constraint, feasibility, data availability and risks. Agree on success measures.

  4. A04 / 06

    Apply

Improve the process and test a suitable AI application.

Intended outcome: A tested solution to reduce the business constraint.

    Explore this step

Use Lean to improve how the process works. Test AI where it can reduce errors, improve response times, strengthen decisions or create additional value.

  5. C05 / 06

    Codify

Embed the new way of working, responsibilities and result checks.

Intended outcome: A work standard and a prepared team.

    Explore this step

Prepare the team and agree on work standards and human checks. Track whether the change works in daily practice and improves the agreed measures.

  6. T06 / 06

    Tune

Assess the business impact and review the next priorities.

Intended outcome: An impact review and the next business priority.

    Explore this step

Check whether the original constraint has been reduced and improvements last. As the situation changes, identify the next improvement priority.

04 / BUSINESS IMPACT

Assess the impact on the whole business.

We choose measures around the key business challenge. We link process improvements to delivery, customer retention, profitability and opportunities for growth.

Profitability

Operating costs, order margins and reduced losses.

Delivery performance

On-time delivery, order-to-delivery lead time and speed of response.

Quality

Defects, customer complaints, rework costs and reliability.

Productivity

Output from physical and knowledge work, equipment utilization and material yield.

Working capital

Inventory levels, turnover and funds tied up in stock.

Customer value

Customer retention, service levels and opportunities to create new value.

We agree on a baseline and success measures, then track whether improvements last. Time saved is one measure when it supports the chosen business goal.

05 / EXPERTS

Meet your LeanAI experts.

One team brings together Lean, business leadership and practical AI experience. We assess both the causes limiting performance and the technological opportunities to address them.

06 / GETTING STARTED

Start with a leadership meeting.

We meet with the organization’s leader to understand the most important business challenges. We discuss the current situation, constraints on growth and profitability, and leadership expectations.

  1. 01Understand the key business challenges and their impact on performance.
  2. 02Agree on leadership expectations, priorities and the desired change.
  3. 03Prepare a proposal for Lean and AI application and a diagnostic assessment.

After the meeting: a proposal for your organization.

Direction for Lean and AI application and implementation

A proposal on how to focus efforts on key business constraints and which Lean and AI applications to explore.

Scope and purpose of a diagnostic assessment

A proposal for identifying root causes and the areas where change could create the greatest added value for the business.

We tailor the proposal to your situation. A detailed strategy and process assessment are subsequent activities whose scope is agreed separately.

Before we begin

Do we need to be using AI already?

No. We start with the key business challenge and its causes. Lean and AI methods are selected for their potential to address that challenge.

Is LeanAI only for manufacturing?

No. The approach applies to manufacturing, construction and services, as well as information and management processes. The priority is determined by its impact on business performance, rather than the type of process.

How will we know if the change pays off?

We agree on a baseline and measures tied to the business challenge: delivery, quality, productivity, costs or inventory. We connect process changes to their effect on the whole business and assess results alongside implementation and ongoing costs.

How is data security addressed?

Before selecting an AI solution, we assess the data it needs, who can access it, where it will be stored and whether it is used for model training. We define human checks and data boundaries. Specific security and confidentiality terms are agreed before working with sensitive information.

How are scope and pricing determined?

We start with a meeting with your organization’s leader to discuss the current situation and expectations. We then propose a direction for AI and Lean application and a diagnostic assessment. The scope and price of subsequent work are agreed separately.

When can we assess the first results?

It depends on the challenge, data availability and scope of change. We agree on when to review results and check whether the business constraint is being reduced and the selected measures are improving.

Do you prepare our team?

Yes. We provide practical AI and Lean training, seminars and workshops for leaders and teams. We adapt the content to the organization’s situation and participants’ experience. During implementation, we also help establish the new way of working.

Which AI tools do you use?

We select tools based on the task, existing systems, data security and the ability to check outcomes. AI use is not a goal in itself: if a simpler solution is sufficient, we start there.

LET'S TALK

What is holding back your business performance?

Let’s discuss your organization’s key challenge and expectations. LeanAI combines process and AI expertise: you can start with either expert, and we develop the next steps together.
